Baltimore’s best restaurants, caterers, and chocolatiers shared their gifts during an incredible hors d’oeuvre reception and dessert buffet to benefit Healthcare for the Homeless. A chocolate-inspired dinner was prepared by Executive Chef Carlos Gomez of the Baltimore Waterfront Marriott.

WorkSpaces Hosts its Second Annual Global Summit

What an exciting year it has been for WorkSpaces! Between establishing our New York location alongside the growth of our Baltimore and DC offices, we have certainly been quite busy. On Monday, January 23, all of our employees from our three locations met in Baltimore to kick off our two day WorkSpaces extravaganza, where we had a chance to recap an amazing 2011, as well as unveil our ambitions for 2012.
Day one encompassed everything from the grand tour of our Baltimore location (which also moonlights as a working showroom) to a Jung Typology Personality Test pizza party, where we had a chance to find out a bit more about our coworkers, as well as ourselves. And of course, no WorkSpaces event would be complete without an after party! Drinks and hors d’oeuvres were served at Pazo, which offered a wonderful atmosphere to close the evening.
The second day of the summit was when we really got down to business at the Four Seasons, Baltimore. Although we can’t divulge our grand plans for the year, we can certainly promise that our aspirations are nothing short of “AMAZING!!!!” (as our fearless leader, Tom McGuire, would say).
WorkSpaces prides itself on the emphasis of the individual, because, after all, it’s all of our employees that drive us to stand out from the crowd. Not only is this recognized, but celebrated at our Global Summit, and we can’t thank everyone enough for their continued support and hard work. We are looking forward to another successful year, and can’t wait for WorkSpaces Global Summit 2013!

Don’t do leftovers? If you’re in the Baltimore area try TEN TEN. It’s a great spot! Also, be sure to check out the seating and banquette fabric (completed by WorkSpaces!). Bon Appétit!
Buried Treasure in Baltimore?

Well… Not exactly “buried”, but certainly hidden! WorkSpaces Baltimore has caught on to the modern day treasure hunt that is Geocaching! Set up as a team building activity to help “onboard” the new employees to our ever-growing offices, WorkSpaces Baltimore was on a race against the clock to see who could find the treasure first!
Four locations were randomly picked throughout the city, and two teams went head to head: “Wig’n Out” vs “The Hunters”. With J.W. Radabaugh as captain of The Hunters, and Amy McGroarty leading the Wig’n Outs, both teams set out in separate directions on their metropolitan adventure to find the hidden cache. In the end, The Hunters proved victorious, by finding their geocache first, leaving behind a WorkSpaces sticker in the sign in log for future seekers to find. It was a ton of fun and interesting to see the “team” dynamics at work in a social situation. We had so much fun (check out our pics here) and hope to make our mark on other geocaches soon!
