It’s a Chocolate Affair!
Baltimore’s best restaurants, caterers, and chocolatiers shared their gifts during an incredible hors d’oeuvre reception and dessert buffet to benefit Healthcare for the Homeless. A chocolate-inspired dinner was prepared by Executive Chef Carlos Gomez of the Baltimore Waterfront Marriott.
WorkSpaces sponsored a table at the event where the proceeds covered the cost of all prescription medications that patients need, clinic-wide, for one week. Healthcare for the Homeless strongly believes that people should not be denied access to the medications they need. This year they project to cover nearly $270,000 in pharmacy bills for clients. This includes co-pays that patients cannot afford or full pay for medicines that are not covered by any insurance or program.
